This remarkable gathering drew an enthusiastic audience of approximately 100 actors and passionate industry aficionados, all eager to explore the intricacies of the acting profession.
The event kicked off with an engaging and interactive stage play, expertly led by the talented trio of Bolu Essien, Imoh Eboh, and Omololu Sodiya. The production poignantly examined the myriad experiences of actors, spanning the rigors of auditions to the demanding expectations that come with being cast, alongside the tantalizing prospect of fulfilling their dreams as performers. Written by Bolu Essien, the play was brought to life under the direction of the esteemed veteran theatre director, Makinde Adeniran, who also serves as the President of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP).
