Nigeria: Varsity Gets Full NUC Accreditation for Academic Programmes

OSOGBO — The National Universities Commission, NUC, has granted full accreditation to all academic programmes currently run by KolaDaisi University.

A statement issued by the university's Registrar, Haruna Adetu, said the institution achieved the milestone following the recent accreditation exercise conducted by the NUC across Nigerian universities.

According to him, the achievement reflects the institution's unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and global best practices in higher education.

"The programmes presented from the Colleges of Applied Sciences, Arts, Management and Social Sciences, Law, and Basic Medical Sciences all secured full accreditation status, further consolidating the university's reputation as one of the emerging private universities committed to quality education in Nigeria," the statement read.

It added that professional and health-related programmes, including Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Anatomy, Public Health, and Physiology, also received full accreditation from the commission.

Reacting to the development, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Adeniyi Olatunbosun, SAN, described the accreditation as a major endorsement of the quality of teaching, learning facilities, manpower, research culture, and institutional governance at KolaDaisi University.

According to him, "This achievement is a clear testimony to the commitment of the university to the vision and mission of its founding fathers, which is centred on producing globally competitive graduates equipped with knowledge, character, and entrepreneurial skills."
