He equally appreciated other stakeholders who also ensured that fairness and justice eventually prevailed in the matter.

Abdulmalik encouraged the rector to be broadminded and forget the unfortunate episodes which led to his hitherto suspension and advised that he should work with all the members of the Polytechnic community and external stakeholders towards taking the 54 years-old institution to greater heights.

The president, in the statement signed by the union's national publicity secretary, Suleiman Dagbo, wished the Rector a more successful, peaceful and rewarding tenure.

Also, the Kwara Monitoring Group (KMG) commended AbdulRazaq, for the recall of Mohammed.

" The decision has been widely welcomed across Kwara State and beyond, with many stakeholders expressing joy at the opportunity for Engr. Abdul to continue and complete the developmental initiatives he started for the benefit of the institution and society at large.

"According to findings, Engr. Abdul's administration introduced several landmark projects and reforms that strengthened the Polytechnic's academic and economic standing.

These include the establishment of a microfinance bank, construction of a medical centre, launch of a campus radio station, improvement of power supply, enhancement of internally generated revenue (IGR), collaboration with University of Ilorin, maintenance of a stable academic calendar, promotion of commercial farming, renovation of facilities, and recovery of institutional lands from illegal occupants.

"These achievements have positioned the Polytechnic for greater growth and have contributed significantly to its reputation as a leading institution of higher learning. Many observers believe that such transformative initiatives demonstrate a strong commitment to institutional development and the welfare of future generations.

"KMG notes that it is uncommon to witness a public servant pursuing extensive developmental projects with such dedication and focus on long-term benefits. Engr. Abdul's efforts have earned him recognition as a leader committed to service, progress, and sustainable development," the group said in a statement.

The Balogun Gambari Development Association yesterday organised a special thanksgiving prayer in honour of the reinstated rector.
