Nigeria: Angelique Kidjo Expresses Excitement After First Meeting With Wizkid

Beninese musician and actress Angelique Kidjo has expressed excitement after meeting Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as 'Wizkid', for the first time.

The Grammy-winning singer shared a photo of their meeting on Instagram after they attended a Louis Vuitton fashion event in Paris. Kidjo revealed that it was her first face-to-face encounter with Wizkid and spoke warmly about the Afrobeats star.

The photo showed both artistes posing together in stylish outfits and dark sunglasses. Fans quickly reacted to the post, celebrating the meeting of two of Africa's biggest music figures.

Many supporters praised Wizkid and called for a collaboration between the pair. Others applauded his reserved lifestyle, describing him as one of Nigeria's most respected music stars. Some also expressed surprise that Kidjo was so thrilled to finally meet him.
