Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Liberia has reaffirmed its commitment to growth, operational excellence, and employee development as the company honored its dedicated workforce during a special appreciation ceremony held in Monrovia.
The event, held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Boulevard Palace Hotel in Sinkor, brought together AGL Liberia's management and employees for a celebration that highlighted staff achievements, teamwork, and the company's role in supporting Liberia's economic development.
The ceremony, which coincided with Liberia's 179th Independence Day celebration, featured employee recognition awards, birthday celebrations, raffle prizes, and messages aimed at motivating workers to continue contributing to the company's growth.
Speaking during the event, AGL Liberia General Manager Remi Ayikoue Amavi said the company's future success depends largely on the commitment, professionalism, and dedication of its employees.

Amavi reminded workers that they are part of a global logistics organization and encouraged them to uphold the values and standards of Africa Global Logistics through hard work, integrity, and teamwork.
"You are part of a very big family," Amavi told employees. "Be proud of being part of Africa Global Logistics and let your behavior reflect the values of this great company."
He said Liberia's Independence celebration serves as a reminder of the importance of resilience, innovation, and collective responsibility, adding that these values are essential for both national progress and business growth.
Amavi emphasized that AGL Liberia remains focused on strengthening its operations, improving customer service, and building a workforce capable of supporting the company's ambition to become a leading logistics provider in Africa and Liberia.
"The growth of this company depends on all of us," he said, urging employees to continue embracing excellence and continuous improvement.
As part of the recognition activities, Barbara J. Draper was named AGL Liberia's Best Employee of the Second Quarter for her outstanding performance, consistency, and commitment to delivering quality service.
Receiving the award, Draper described the recognition as a major achievement in her professional journey, crediting her success to perseverance, discipline, and dedication.
"My life has been transforming since I joined AGL," Draper said. "Every day I look forward to coming to work because the company challenges me to think, grow, and become a better person."

She dedicated the award to her family, particularly her husband and children, for their support and encouragement.

Human Resources Manager Lamb Toe said the gathering represented more than an employee celebration, describing it as a reflection of the company's appreciation for the people who drive its success.
"As we commemorate Liberia's Independence Day, let us reflect on the values of unity, resilience, peace, and patriotism while continuing to serve our country and our organization with integrity, professionalism, and excellence," Toe said.
Also speaking, AGL Liberia's Clearing and Forwarding Manager Cephus Bartuah commended employees for their commitment and resilience, noting that teamwork remains a critical factor in the company's achievements.

The celebration concluded with a raffle draw, where employee Numeh P. David won the grand prize -- a vehicle.
