The latest episode of Peter Okoye's tell-all series prompted a reaction from his twin brother, Paul Okoye, as the public fallout over P-Square's finances and management deepened.
The long-running feud between P-Square brothers Peter and Paul "Rudeboy" Okoye has taken another turn, with Paul reacting after Peter released the seventh instalment of his tell-all video series, accusing both their ex-manager, Jude, and Rudeboy of diverting money.
Peter, known professionally as Mr P, has spent the past week releasing a series of videos in which he accused his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, of financial misconduct, withholding records, delaying access to the group's backend catalogue and claiming ownership of the P-Square brand. He has also accused Paul of siding with Jude during the dispute.
Although Jude denied the allegations, Rudeboy remained silent until Thursday, when his management company, Fire Department Inc., issued a statement saying the singer would not engage in public exchanges.

The singer's management added that his position remained clear, as he was focused solely on his music, his fans, and the future.
The 44-year-old's management said: "Fire Department Inc., the official management of Rudeboy, is aware of the ongoing public conversations surrounding recent events involving members of the Okoye family. While we understand the public interest, we believe that personal and family matters are best handled with dignity, respect, and responsibility.
"We will not be drawn into an exchange of allegations or commentary that distracts from the work, the fans, and the music. Rudeboy remains fully committed to his craft and deeply grateful for the unwavering support he continues to receive from fans across Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of the world."
Avoid speculation
Additionally, the singer's management urged Nigerians to avoid speculation and rely on verified information rather than rumours and online commentary.
The management stated that it remains committed to supporting Rudeboy's creative path, preserving the quality of his work, and ensuring he channels his energy into producing great music and entertaining fans worldwide.
"Their (fans) encouragement has been instrumental in the growing success of "Blessed & Alive" featuring Sarkodie, and our focus remains on sharing music that inspires, uplifts, and connects people. We respectfully ask our supporters, media partners, and the public to allow space for professionalism and mutual respect.
"We encourage everyone to avoid speculation and to rely on verified information rather than rumours or online commentary. We sincerely thank everyone who has continued to stream, share, and celebrate "Blessed & Alive." This is only the beginning, and we look forward to announcing more exciting projects, performances, and milestones in the weeks and months ahead."
Backstory
PREMIUM TIMES earlier reported that, amid the renewed family dispute, fans of the singers had taken sides, with many social media users rallying behind Mr P and criticising Jude and Rudeboy over what they described as "unfair treatment" of their brother.
Some supporters also launched an online campaign urging fans to subscribe to Mr P's YouTube channel and stream his latest single, "I Can't Look Away", as a show of solidarity.
The newspaper also reported that the dispute escalated into an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) investigation, which resulted in criminal charges against Jude over alleged money laundering involving about N1.38 billion, $1 million and £34,537.59.

Jude pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the case remains before the Federal High Court in Lagos.
During Jude's court appearance, Mr P testified as a prosecution witness, while Rudeboy publicly defended Jude, further highlighting the divisions within the family. Authorities remanded Jude in custody, and the court later granted him bail.
Before P-Square split and the controversies that followed, the duo released several hit songs, including "Bizzy Body", "Do Me", "Personally", "No One Like", "You" and "Chop My Money".
