Technology, Entrepreneurship and Progress

Two U.S.-based organizations - KickStart and Samasource - were among those that were recently honored in Washington, DC, at the first Innovation Award for the Empowerment of Women and Girls. KickStart is a non-profit that promotes technology and entrepreneurism. Samasource helps empower Africans through employment in the ICT sector.
