Africa Urged to Spend Billions on Infrastructure
Africa needs to be spending U.S.$93 billion each year on infrastructure, according to the African Development Bank, more than double the current outlays. Stephen Hayes, who has been president and chief executive officer of the the Corporate Council on Africa for 12 years, explains why infrastructure is important both for council members and for the countries where they are doing business.
