Contraceptives Can Save Millions of Lives
American philanthropist Melinda Gates says deaths from complications related to pregnancy and giving birth kill more than 350,000 women and three million babies, mostly in developing countries, every year. "It's a life-and-death crisis for these women," Gates says.
