Doubt Cast Over Hague Probe for Mali Coup Crimes
The International Criminal Court, ICC, has promised to investigate allegations of human rights abuses during a coup in Mali - but the court's resources are severely stretched by the cases and trials already before it, and it is far from clear whether it has the capacity to launch a new in-depth investigation.
Thousands of persons have been displaced by the crisis in Mali.
