East African Presidents Call on Burundi to Postpone Polls

Burundi should delay its election by al least six weeks, say the heads of state of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, backed by South Africa's president and the African Union chief. They were meeting in Dar es Salaam to review the crisis triggered by President Pierre Nkurunziza's refusal to step down after two terms, the subsequent protests and a failed coup attempt.
