Trial of Chad's Habré Postponed

Hardly a day after the spectacular opening of former Chadian president Hissène Habré's war crimes trial before the Extraordinary African Chambers in Dakar, it was postponed.

Surrounded by security officers, Hissène Habré (in white robes) disrupted court proceedings on the first day of his trial with shouts of "Down with imperialism! Down with the new colonialism!"
