Outrage in Ghana Over Guantanamo Detainees

This is the first time Ghana has accepted prisoners from Guantanamo, a U.S. military prison located in Cuba, although other African countries, such as Uganda and Cape Verde, have received transfers from the facility in the past.

 

The move is part of US President Barack Obama's drive to close the detention center by the end of his term in office.
