AfDB on How to Achieve the Water & Sanitation Development Goal

As water and sanitation remains one of the key development challenges facing African communities and nations, Mohamed El Azizi, the African Development Bank's Water and Sanitation Director thinks the Bank is in "a unique position to help African countries better cope with water and sanitation challenges." The Africa Water Week (AWW) is convened by the African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW) in conjunction with the African Union Commission and organized with other development partners. The 6th Africa Water Week (AWW-6) was held from July 18th to 22nd 2016 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
