Gambia's President-elect Barrow in Senegal Until Inauguration

Senegal will host Gambian president-elect Adama Barrow until his swearing-in ceremony on Thursday, the state-owned Senegalese news agency APS reported Sunday. Last week, Barrow travelled to Mali's capital to meet leaders attending a summit jointly hosted by France after the failure of a last-ditch attempt by regional mediation team to persuade longtime leader Yahya Jammeh to step down. According to reports, west African leaders are preparing military action.
