South African Govt Appoints Retired Judge for Esidimeni Case
Families of the over 100 mentally ill and intellectually challenged patients who died when transferred from Life Esidimeni facility to several non-governmental organisations that were allegedly not equipped to care for them, has reached an agreement that sees retired deputy chief justice Dikgang Moseneke presiding over the alternative dispute resolution process between them and the Gauteng Department of Health.
