Abuja Market Shut Down Amid Clashes Over Buhari's Absence
Security forces used tear gas and fired weapons in Abuja to disperse protesters clashing over President Muhammadu Buhari's prolonged absence from the country. The police were forced to close the market. The #ResumeOrResign movement is campaigning for President Muhammadu Buhari to either return from his medical trip to the United Kingdom or resign.
