HIV Prevalance Higher in Women Than Men - Latest Uganda Report
The Uganda Population HIV Impact assessment survey - released by the ministry of health - indicates that the country's HIV prevalence has dropped from 7.3% to 6.0%. The study also indicates that the rate of HIV infection is higher in women at 7.1% than in men (4.3%).
