Cargo haulage by rail in Tanzania and beyond its borders is set to increase by 30%. Under an open-access agreement on train operations between the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority and Zambia Railway Limited, each operator will run its trains all the way from Lusaka to Dar es Salaam.
