Will Ethiopia's Govt Show Restraint at Oromo Festival?

Human Rights Watch has called on the government to show that it has learnt from its show of force at the 2016 Ireecha Festival, which resulted in the deaths of what is estimated to be hundreds of people. Protests against the police violence resulted in a state of emergency that lasted until the end of August. This year's festival starts on October 1.
