South African Parties Must Disclose Private Funding, Court Rules
Western Cape High Court Judge Yasmin Meer has ruled that Parliament has 18 months to rectify "inconsistencies" in the Promotion of Access to Information Act, saying information about private funding is "reasonably required" for voters to make informed decisions at the polls.
