Petroleum Minister Ibe Kachikwu has assured governors of the country's 36 states that fuel from the strategic reserves has been released by the ministry and will be distributed nationwide within the next 2 days, easing the scarcity being experienced.

The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, Nupeng, has said that the scarcity is as a result of the four oil refineries in the country not being rehabilitated. Read more »
