Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State had allowed for civil servants to use Thursdays and Fridays to farm, tackle economic challenges, and solve their social obligations. Since then the country's economy has seen an upswing and the governor has reversed his decision, saying that workers should now do a full week.
