Magufuli Sacks Sanitation Boss, Dissolves Board

President John Magufuli and the Minister of Water and Irrigation Isack Kamwelwe have fired Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority (Dawasa) acting chief executive officer Romanus Mwang'ingo. They have also dissolved the Dawasa board of directors for allegations of misappropriation of funds for the U.S.$7.9 Million Mpera and Kimbiji water project.
