Nigerian Govt Rolls Out Plans to End Farmer-Herder Clashes
The government has presented a six-point plan to end the clashes between herdsmen and farmers across Nigeria. Part of the plan is to shut Nigerian borders to prevent criminal elements posing as herdsmen from entering the country and infiltrating groups of Fulani herdsmen. The farmer-herder conflict in the country has claimed the lives of thousands over the years.
