Suspicion Over New Nigeria Petroleum Industry Governance Bill
The Petroleum Industry Governance Bill, which is the first part of the Petroleum Industry Bill to be passed by the National Assembly, is not being met with much favour by stakeholders in Niger Delta. They have cautioned President Muhammadu Buhari against its signing, alleging that it seeks to privatize the country's oil and gas assets and to further impoverish the people of the Niger Delta region.
