Fake Nails, Eyelashes Banned in Tanzanian Parliament

The move came after Deputy Minister for Health Faustine Ndugulile laid a complaint that MPs were severely endangering not only their health, but the overall welfare of their constituents by using artificial beauty enhancers which had dangerous side effects. Speaker of the Tanzanian Parliament Job Ndugai also added that women lawmakers who use excessive make-up might also be blocked from entering the legislative house.
