Morocco Inaugurates Africa's First High-Speed Train

French President Emmanuel Macron and Morocco's King Mohammed VI have inaugurated a high-speed railway line that boasts the fastest journey times in Africa or the Arab world, the East African reports.The service between Tangiers and Casablanca will slash journey times between the North African country's economic hubs from five hours to just over two. Trains will zoom along the newly laid tracks at speeds of up to 320km/h.
