Will Bid For Mnangagwa-Trump Meeting Come to Fruition?

As Zimbabwe intensifies its re-engagement process with the West, plans are afoot to have President Mnangagwa meet with the U.S. President Donald Trump, Foreign Affairs Minister Sibusiso Moyo has said. The U.S. sanctions on Zimbabwe were imposed in 2002 and 2003 over alleged gross human rights abuses, undermining of democratic processes and corruption under then president Robert Mugabe.
