Penny Sparrow who caused a huge outcry for describing black beachgoers as "monkeys" in a Facebook post in 2016, has died from cancer. She was tried and convicted in the Equality Court for hate speech and was fined U.S.$10,785 which she had to pay to the Adelaide and Oliver Tambo Foundation.
