Lagos-Ibadan Rail Project on Track Despite Snag Along the Way
The standard gauge railway between Lagos and Ibadan hit a snag when a landslide exposed a gas pipeline lying along where part of the track was being built. An official at the transport ministry, Sabiu Zakari said that despite this temporary challenge, the project is still in accordance with the specification of the scope of the work, which is being undertaken by the China Civil Engineering and Construction Company.
