Money for Jam It Seems, as UK Gas Firm 'Fleeces' Nigerian Govt

A UK commercial court has affirmed the ruling of a London arbitration tribunal which in January 2017, awarded U.S.$6.6 billion judgement debt against the government over the alleged breach of a gas supply and processing agreement, it allegedly signed with UK firm, Process and Industrial Developments Ltd (P&ID). Analysts however, are worried that the court simply rewarded P&ID with the monstrous amount for doing nothing for Nigeria, writes Chika Amanze-Nwachuku and Alex Enumah for This Day.
