Shiite Leader Wants To Turn Nigeria Into Islamic State - Govt

The government has accused Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, the leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, of being sponsored by Iran to replicate a violent revolution that led to the coup in Iran in 1979. This follows a motion filed by the Islamic Movement of Nigeria to challenge its ban. The government stressed that Shiite members do not recognise President Muhammadu Buhari's authority.
