Nigeria Confectioners Want Attention Paid to Sweet Things In Life

Nigerian bakers, on the eve of a bakers' seminar in Lagos on September 3 to 4, 2019, are calling on the government to support the confectionery sector, which has not seen much reform since it was largely incorporated into the food industry. The sector is urging the government to work on electricity challenges as it is an integral part of the baking business, which they say impacts  the economy. The seminar, which will attract top local and international bakers, will also host Bartolo Valastro Jnr, better known as America's Cake Boss.
