Controversy Over Nigeria's New Cashless Policy
The House of Representatives has asked the Central Bank of Nigeria to immediately suspend the new charges placed on Nigerians under its new cashless policy. The bank had announced that certain cash deposits and withdrawals from individual bank accounts are to attract additional charges.
