Relief For HIV/Aids Patients as Legal Battle Ends In Botswana
The Botswana Court of Appeal has ruled in favor of the government in a legal tussle over the supply of life-saving anti-retroviral drugs. In January 2019, the government was taken to court by a major ARV supplier who claimed that there were irregularities in the awarding of a contract for the provision of the drug. The court ruled that the supply of ARV medication be halted until the matter was resolved.
