Nigeria's Buhari a Middleman in Edo State Governor Squabble?

President Muhammadu Buhari seems to find himself drawn into the conflict between Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki and his predecessor Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairperson of the All Progressives Congress party, after Obaseki asked him to intervene. The two have been at odds ever since Obaseki took office in Edo State as they differed on leadership decisions taken in the state. Oshiomhole was also indicted by a panel of inquiry set up by the state government to investigate corruption allegations against him, relating to the construction and supply of equipment for the Edo Specialist Hospital, located in the state capital. Obaseki was stopped by a court order from having Oshiomhole arrested.
