Somalia Leaders Strike Elections Deal
As part of the agreement, a number of caucuses will eachelect MPs who will get seats in parliament. These MPs will in turn elect a president. The UN Security Council was told that there are strongly held divergent views among the leaders, and that political tensions are high ahead of the elections.
