David Mungoshi’s Death A Blow To The Zimbabwean Arts Sector

Celebrated author, poet, and actor, David Mungoshi has died after battling ill-health for over five years. He was 71. His book, The Fading Son, won an award at the prestigious 2010 NAMA Awards. The novel is also part of the literature setwork in schools. As an actor, he played the role of John Huni on the popular Studio 263. He was a brother to late renowned author and actor Charles Mungoshi.
