How Nigerian Doctors, Diagnostic Centres Are Scamming Patients

A Premium Times investigation has revealed how medical diagnostic companies are colluding with doctors and hospitals to scam unsuspecting patients who pay for healthcare out-of-pocket, through a referral kickbacks scheme. During the 20-month undercover investigation, the online newspaper discovered that the scheme operates by first registering doctors and hospitals with their bank account details.
