Ghana Health Workers Down Tools Over Working Conditions

Members of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association, physicians assistants and certified registered anaesthetist have embarked on a nationwide strike to protest against the government's inability to fulfill their demands over their conditions of service. They are demanding benefits that include clothing allowances, an increase to call credit which needs to be extended to nurses, as well as risk allowances.
