Rape Charges Dropped Against South African Musician Sjava

Jabulani Hadebe, also known as Sjava, is off the hook after the National Prosecuting Authority threw out the case, saying there was "no concrete evidence" to arrest and charge him with rape. The popular rapper was accused of rape by his former girlfriend, Lady Zamar. She opened a case in 2017, saying that the incident happened at a hotel in Limpopo Province, after a concert. She also said Sjava was emotionally and sexually abusive. Sjava denied the rape allegations.
