Shining African Stars on TIME's 100 Emerging Leaders 2021 List
Nigerian stars Davido, Nse Ufot, Olugbenga Agboola, Feyikemi 'FK' Abudu, Odunayo Eweniyi, Ijeoma Oluo and Damilola Odufuwa, South African architect Sumayya Vally, Sierra Leonean politician Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, Zimbabwean-born actor Regé-Jean Page and Ugandan activist Vannesa Nakate are just a few of the Africans named in 2021 Time100 Next - the list that recognises leaders of tomorrow. The annual list serves as an extension to the Time100 list, which aims to highlight "the 100 individuals who are shaping the future of their fields and defining the next generation of leadership in business, entertainment, health and science, sports, activism, and more."
