Nigerian Leaders - AllAfrica Interviews

President Olusegun Obasanjo was interviewed in New York in 2001 and Washington, DC in 2003. After losing the 2003 election to Obasanjo, General Muhammadu Buhari visited AllAfrica in Washington, DC and shared his thoughts on the election loss and the transformative power of a freely elected government. In 2015 - after three failed attempts, Buhair was successful and became the country's 7th head of state.

Senate President Bukola Saraki - third in line to the Presidency - spoke with AllArica during a visit to Washington, DC in 2018.
