Zimbabwean Comedian Mai Titi In Wrangle With Film Producer

Controversial comedienne and motivational speaker Felistas Murata, popularly known as Mai Titi, has been involved in a wrangle with the producer of the film, A Life To Regret, after she was removed from the cast for her alleged unprofessional conduct. In the film, Mai Titi was one of the lead characters in the role as a stepmother. The decision to terminate Mai Titi's contract did not sit well with Zimbabweans, who took to the Tanzanian film production company BJB Film's facebook page, to enquire about the fallout. The production house said it replaced her role with Tanzanian painter, musician and dancer Angel Mary Kato. Mai Titi has since responded to the post, alleging that the production company was underpaying her and also raised sexual abuse allegations.
