U.S. Turns Spotlight on Russian Group Wagner's Moves in Africa

As allAfrica details how the U.S. is intensifying its focus on Wagner's activities in Africa, most recently via a presentation to the Armed Services Committee of the U.S. Senate by the head of the military command which oversees U.S. relations with Africa's defence forces, the Council on Foreign Relations' Michelle Gavin writes that the U.S. should "absolutely call attention to the mounting evidence that the Wagner Group cannot actually solve the security problems it claims to address" but needs to "should resist the urge to resurrect Cold War-era partnerships".
