Zimbabwean Afropop Star Garry Mapanzure Laid To Rest

Afro-pop star Garry Mapanzure has been laid to rest in Masvingo.

Mapanzure died in a car accident at the age of 25. The singer was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Mapanzure was known for his electrifying voice and infectious melodies, and his death is a major blow to the music industry.

Mapanzure's music career took off in 2017 with the release of his hit debut single, "Wapunza." He soon became the first Zimbabwean artist to win the emPawa Africa challenge, securing the 10th spot. Mapanzure quickly established himself as a renowned figure in the music industry, carving out a remarkable career with his exceptional musical abilities. Along the way, he garnered recognition and accolades for his talent.

He was a passenger in a car driven by his sister. Sadly, his sister and nephew died on the spot.
