Geneva Talks Condemn Sudan Aid Worker Killings

Aid workers on the frontlines of the world's conflicts are being killed in unprecedented numbers, according to a United Nations report issued for World Humanitarian Day, August 19. International delegations gathered in Geneva for talks on Sudan began discussions on Monday with a minute of silence in recognition of World Humanitarian Day remembering and condemning the killing of 22 aid workers and the injury of at least 34 others since the outbreak of the conflict in that country.
