Ghana's Kotoka International Airport Set to Be Renamed

The government has announced that the Transport Minister will submit a bill to Parliament to rename the Kotoka International Airport, a major West African transport hub. According to a pro-government MP, the bill proposes renaming the facility Accra International Airport. The MP emphasized that the decision is not a reflection on General Kotoka's legacy, but is intended to honor the people of Accra who provided the land for the airport's construction.
