Tanzania Govt Warns Officials Over Use of Personal Email Accounts

The Presidency has warned public servants against using personal email accounts for official government business, citing significant security risks to state operations.

"This is a major challenge... we must use systems developed by our local experts," said Ridhiwani Kikwete, Minister of State in the President's Office. He noted that the government has invested heavily in ICT infrastructure that meets international security standards and urged officials to utilize these secure platforms for all official business.
